How we use your data
Here is what happens to personal information you share with Extension Price London, set out under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Last updated: 15 October 2026.
Who we are and how to contact us
The controller of your personal data is Web Designer Limited (company number 15002899, registered in England & Wales; registered office: 119a Flat 2 Uxbridge Road, London W7 3ST). We run extensionprice.com under the name Extension Price London. Post can be sent to 119a Flat 2 Uxbridge Road, London W7 3ST (our registered office). The quickest route for a data question or request is our online form; please say that it concerns privacy.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we receive the details you type in: name, email, postcode, the kind of job, your message and whether you ticked the consent box. Our host also handles connection data such as your IP address and browser type so pages load securely. Please leave out sensitive information such as health details.
How we use your data and our lawful basis
We process enquiry details so that we can respond, quote or book a survey. If an independent tradesperson is better placed to price the job, we pass on just enough for them to get in touch about it. UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (pre-contract steps you ask for) and Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interests in dealing with enquiries and running the business) are our lawful bases. We never sell personal data or use it to market to you.
Sharing your information
We share personal data with a small number of recipients: FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards enquiries to us as our processor and may process them outside the UK under the safeguards UK law requires; Cloudflare, which hosts this site; the independent tradesperson quoting for your job; and anyone we must share it with by law.
Do we use cookies?
This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
Retention
Our retention period for enquiries is up to 2 years from the last contact. After that they are deleted, except where we are legally obliged to keep them.
Your rights
UK GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Send your request through the routes above; we reply within one month.
Complaints
We would like to hear from you first if something has gone wrong. The Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) also accepts complaints about how organisations use personal data.
Changes to this notice
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
